Anthony Lawler – CEO
Anthony brings a wealth of experience in the natural health, biotech, food and beverage industries. He has a strong track record of driving strong revenue growth and capital raising with leading companies such as A2 Milk, Vital Foods and more recently Good Heath Products.
Anthony has key skills in General Management, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Production, Supply Chain and New Product Development. He also brings a large amount of international market experience particularly in China, South Korea, Australia, USA, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia.
Dr Shaun Holt – CSO & Director
Dr Shaun Holt holds Pharmacy and Medicine degrees and lectures at Victoria University of Wellington. He has been the Principal Investigator in over 50 clinical trials and has over 180 publications in the medical literature.
Shaun has been a regular contributor on TV1’s Breakfast programme and often appears on national radio shows. He is the author of 7 books including the bestseller “Natural Remedies That Really Work” and was a runner-up for New Zealander of the Year 2015 Awards, in the Sanitarium Innovator of the Year category.
Laurence Greig – VP Business Development
Laurence has a strategic leadership background, with a 30 year record in the private and government sectors in the area of strategic management, change and innovation. Laurence has led professional groups in addition to personally leading start-ups. He consults to private, public and listed enterprises in the utilities, health, public service and financial sectors.
Laurence is a Certified Company Director with the NZ Institute of Directors and a Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional with the International Association of Risk and Compliance Professionals.
Dr Ian Boddy – Chair
Dr Ian Boddy, who has a PhD in organic chemistry, was a Research Fellow at Cambridge University and a Senior Research Leader with the large German agrochemicals company, Schering AG.
He is also well-known for his time with the New Zealand Crown Research Institute AgResearch as GM Commercial.
Brendon Barnes – Independent Director
Brendon has been the Investment Manager for Quayside Holdings Limited since late 2015. Brendon comes from an investment banking background and spent 11 years working overseas with the Macquarie Group and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.
He holds a BCA (Accounting and Commercial Law) and a Graduate Diploma (Professional Accounting) from Victoria University. Brendon is a member of the Institute of Directors and a Chartered Accountant.
Dr Robert Feldman – Independent Director
Dr. Rob Feldman has a combination of business, medical and research experience spanning two decades. A qualified medical practitioner, he obtained his medical degree in London and his PhD in The Netherlands. He has worked at Harvard Medical School and has held clinical and academic positions at Imperial College, London.
Dr. Feldman is the CEO of the burns treatment company, Upside Biotechnologies.
Alan Barrett – Director Operations
Alan’s background includes General Manager of online business for Whitbread in the UK, supply chain manager for the Dairy Board’s European fast moving consumer business, Group Information Officer for Fonterra’s consumer business and leading the supply chain and procurement solution for Ernst and Young New Zealand.
Alan runs his own supply chain and procurement consultancy and has successfully completed many assignments in Government Ministries, SOE and private enterprises within New Zealand. He holds a BSC in Applied Mathematics and MBA from Scottish Business School.
Julia Ammundsen – Commercial Manager
Julia brings 20 years of finance and retail experience to HoneyLab. As a foreign exchange trader in The National Banks treasury department, she managed the bank’s currency positions during the challenging London and New York time zones.
Julia also owned and ran a successful retail store for 10 years, managing all facets of the business. She holds a BSc from Victoria University and is passionate about proven natural medicines.
